The lamp designed by Giulio Capellini and Leonardo Talarico will be showcased in the exhibition “Genius Ideas” for its intelligent use of materials.

From October 19th to 22nd, 2023, the Pietrasanta Design Week End returns for its second edition. This format was created by Studio Coronel and organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Pietrasanta, with the patronage of ADI – Industrial Design Association, and the Order of Architects of Lucca.

During the four-day event, numerous art galleries in Pietrasanta (LU) will create a widespread exhibition throughout the streets of the city, featuring some design icons among the exhibited works. The event includes debates, exhibitions, and meetings on the evolution of contemporary design, with the sponsorship of the Municipality and Altagamma.

Within the framework of Pietrasanta Design Week End, there is the exhibition “Idee Geniali” (“Genius Ideas”) curated by Giulio Cappellini, the art director of Icone Luce, in the beautiful complex of San Gerardo.

The exhibition showcases objects that stood out at the time of their presentation for their innovative use of materials, form, and function.

Lama, designed by Giulio Cappellini and Leonardo Talarico, was chosen for its intelligent use of material: an ultra-thin sheet expertly crafted by Icone Luce, capable of generating a lightweight and sculptural form.

An object that, in addition to its illumination function, becomes a protagonist in both public and private spaces.

Icone is delighted to participate in this exhibition, which gathers the best of Made in Italy objects and brands, reaffirming its commitment to research and innovation.

“Idee Geniali” will remain open until February 2024.
